EXCO Resources, Inc. (EXCO) is an independent crude oil and natural gas company, and was established in October 1955. The e company is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company is involved in both upstream and midstream operations. All the upstream assets are situated in the US, and the companys upstream operations can be primarily divided into three divisions; namely the Appalachian, the Permian and the East Texas/North Louisiana divisions. The companys midstream operations consist of 50% Working Interest (WI) in TGGT Holdings, LLC (TGGT), which is involved in the transportation of natural gas produced in the East Texas/North Louisiana region to the US markets. As of December 2010, the companys total crude oil and natural gas reserve base was 249.9 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), around 97% of which was contributed by natural gas, while the remaining 3% was contributed by crude oil.
