Repsol YPF is an integrated energy company engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, refining and transportation, electricity generation, and operation of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects worldwide. It operates in more than 35 countries across the globe, including Canada, the US, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Spain, Algeria, Libya, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, and Russia. The companys total production and reserves in 2010 were 313.2 MMboe and 2,015.2 MMboe respectively. Repsol acquired the remaining 85% stake in Argentinean government-controlled YPF in 1990, and became Spains largest industrial company. The company is headquartered in Spain, where it manages trading, legal, finance and other business functions.
